Refund/Exchange
We hope that you are happy with your purchase but if you would like to return your purchase for a refund or size exchange, please follow the below steps.
Step1: You will need to submit a Return Request within 30 days of the original order date.
Step 2: Once we receive your request for a return, you will receive confirmation and instructions in how to return your items.
Returns Policy & Process
We take great pride in our reputation for quality, and if for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we will assist you with an exchange or refund. Items must be returned within 14 days of your return request been approved in an unused condition with item/s and all packaging as purchased in original condition with all labels attached. All Items must be securely wrapped, with shipping label addressed to us your risk and cost. The Sting exchange/return form must be included with the item when returned. We recommend you utilise registered post as Sting does not take responsibility for items not received if a customer attempts to send an item to Sting via non registered post.
If we don't receive the item/s within the 14 days period, your return request will be cancelled and you will need to re submit your request.
We are under no obligation to collect or recover goods from you, but if we do, our costs will be payable by you. Please note a $5 handling fee will apply to all returns.
Customised Items
We are unable to accept returns or exchange items that have undergone customization, unless they have been found faulty after detailed examination by our Product Assessments team. Please choose your customisation details carefully, and retain a copy of your confirmation notice for future reference. If it is found that we have incorrectly customised your item/s contrary to your instructions and the confirmation notice, we will gladly replace them. We will not accept returns of customised items if prior to, during or after the customisation process a customer changes his or her mind.
Mouth & Groin Guards
Due to hygiene issues we are unable to accept returns or exchanges of any Mouth & Groin Guards. If these items are deemed faulty they will replaced by Sting Sports.
Colours
There may be a slight variation in colour to what is shown on screen, due to differences in monitor settings and image quality.
Faulty Items
Items will be inspected by our Product Assessments team and if the item is deemed to be faulty due to manufacturing or fabric defect, Sting will replace or repair the items at our discretion and return free of additional freight charges. If deemed not to be faulty, it will not qualify for an exchange or refund under this return type.
If You Change Your Mind
Sting is unable to accept items that have had the tags removed, have been customized, worn (other than for the purposes of fitting and/or for establishing the appropriateness of the design), used or washed. Change of mind returns only apply to items in a resalable condition. All change of mind returns will be at customers expense, additional re-delivery freight charges will not apply for replacement items.

Incorrect Size
Redelivery fee will be waived for exchanging a size.
Incorrect Colour
Sting will cover the re-delivery charges if the colour item you received is not what you initially purchased. As customers can appreciate however, colours shown on an internet exchange may not be an exact match to the physical goods, therefore the colour shown is for illustrative purposes only.
Refunds on Shipping and Handling Charges
If we made a mistake and sent you the wrong order, or if you received a damaged product, we will refund shipping and handling charges to your credit card. A copy of your Sting tax invoice may be requested for proof of purchase.
Warranty Policy
Sting Sports is proud to have supported the boxing community for over 20 years. The nature of our products typically require a high frequency of use and the rigours of high frequency and high intensity impact for Gloves and Protection gear for example.
Sting Sports products have a manufacturing warranty that covers the overall structural integrity of the product, provided it has been used for its intended purpose and reasonable care and maintenance is carried out. If your product turns out to have a major production fault or has been significantly damaged prior to delivery, Sting Sports will replace or refund the item; unless (but not limited to):
- The product has not been used for its original intended purpose
- Normal wear and tear (including the expected impact of contact items like gloves and mitts)
- Cosmetic damages (including the expected impact of contact items like gloves and mitts)
- Misuse
- Incorrect installation/assembly
- Improper storage (i.e moist conditions and direct sunlight)
- Poor maintenance
- Outside the warranty period
- Lack of proof of purchase
Unless otherwise specified, products have a 180 day manufacturing warranty, starting from date of invoice. Please be advised that it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure correct installation and maintenance of the products, and inform further users or clients of proper equipment usage and handling. We recommend that you conduct regular equipment audits to ensure that all your products are correctly maintained and replaced as required.
We could also include general maintenance for Gloves, Mitts, Headgaurds etc
Maintenance
- Clean with a damp cloth using PH Neutral detergent and wipe dry
- Powder inside between uses
- Cold machine wash and drip dry: Inner Gloves

- Store for long periods in direct sunlight
- Strike against abrasive materials
